New Ad from Free & Just Spotlights Congressman Zach Nunn’s Attacks on Abortion Access and Reproductive Freedom

Anti-abortion extremism leaves patients without access to lifesaving care

IOWA –– A new digital ad from Free & Just is calling out Rep. Zach Nunn (IA-03) for attacking abortion access and reproductive freedom. The ad, which is part of six-figure buy across key congressional districts, comes as attacks on access to all types of reproductive health care continue to escalate. 

New data from Reproductive Freedom for All confirms that Americans across the political spectrum are nearly as opposed to a national abortion ban as they are to middle class tax increases and sweeping cuts to Medicaid. Still, Trump and Republican lawmakers like Zach Nunn continue to launch deadly new attacks on access to reproductive health care. 

Ellie Davis, a Des Moines resident who credits access to abortion with allowing her to escape poverty and build a life for herself, released the following statement in response to the new ad: 

“Abortion bans are killing women across the country, and instead of working to protect Iowans’ access to care, Congressman Zach Nunn is hellbent on rolling back our rights. Now more than ever, we must be clear about what’s at stake if extremists like Zach Nunn continue butting into the exam room.”
